What to do if I find road kill - a dead animal in the street

Waking up in the morning, getting ready for work and leaving your house, you find a dead animal across the street can be a surprising experience. The first thing you would want to do before knowing the cause is to get rid of it safely without anyone getting harmed in the neighborhood or near it. Now the question arises as to what you are going to do about the dead animal that you see?
